In Between

Things are changing again. Not that change is bad. This weekend we’re losing two families from our body of believers. One family has been called to help plant a church in Manchester, CT. The other is returning home to Michigan to continue their journey.

We’ve had others leave the body, but with less fanfare. Regardless, we feel their absence.

We’re all journeying about, moving here and there. We’re in between where we were and where we’re going. As I reflect on my “in between” I’m humbled. God has us in a really good place right now. He’s growing and maturing us. Challenging and strengthening us. He’s allowing us to try and fail, try again and succeed. He’s allowing us to gain credibility. He’s allowing us to serve, bless others, help raise up leaders. He’s preparing us for what He has prepared for us.

In between is now. This moment. Ever changing, always alive and moving. As I sit here writing, I’m in between what was the day before and the evening to come. These changes are good and proper. All part of God’s greater plan.

Blessings to you, Scott and Edwards families … as you venture into the nextness of what God has prepared for you. You will be missed!!

Wonderfully put! Your post is very encouraging and exciting. From one Five-Minute-Friday(er) to another, keep up the good work! 🙂

  2. You did it! I love this post, and not just because I know the people you’re speaking about. We’re always in between something, and it’s all part of God’s master plan. I hope you’ll become a FMF regular. 🙂
